About Mulcahys

Mulcahy's is located in Clonmel Town Centre. It is a small family run hotel in business since 1976 with a busy carvery lunch and is known for Roast Beef; the restaurant is open from 5pm daily and there is live music in the Brewery bar at weekends. Clonmel has lots to offer being a busy town with a great variety of shops, and for the more athletic there are fantastic walks especially close by in the Nire Valley. Fishing on the River Suir which is a noted trout river with good salmon runs. Horse racing at the local Clonmel Racetrack, and of course being Tipperary famous for its horses there are numerous hunter trail events staged and lots of trekking and trail riding available. There are a number of golf courses, 18 hole course at Clonmel with spectacular mountain views, Slievenmon, Cahir, Tipperary Town and Carrick on Suir. Clonmel is centrally located for trips to Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Waterford Crystal, about 1 hour from Cork, 2 hours from Dublin, 1.5 hours from Shannon and 40mins from Waterford.
