Hotel Le Pic Blanc (L´Alpe d´Huez, France)

Guests love the newly decorated rooms at Le Pic Blanc, and have described the decor as modern, the rooms as well designed, clean and comfortable, and the sheets and bedding as crisp and fresh.

Most guests come to this hotel to take advantage of the slopes and find it very convenient that the lifts are just a short walk from the property. If you need to, you can take a free bus ride to town, or visit the ski shops opposite the hotel where boots and skis are available for hire.

If you want the best views from your balcony, then visitors have suggested requesting a room on the Valauris side of the hotel, where there are unrestricted views of the surrounding beauty. On a cold winter's evening many guests grab a glass of wine and enjoy the sights.

Many visitors were not very happy about having to pay for use of the sauna and Jacuzzi facilities. After a cold day on the slopes they felt that it was in bad taste to have to pay for these services, and would have prefered them to be included in the price of the room.

The pool has been described by most guests as not user friendly at all, as it was way too cold to swim in.Guests felt that after skiing on the icy slopes, it was not going to be a positive experience to come back and swim in the icy pool.

If you are looking forward to a hearty breakfast at Le Pic Blanc, then you had better get down there soon after opening time. Many travellers have been disappointed to find very little food, plates and cutlery left after a while.
