he Hotel James Joyce is located in the colorfull center, fascinating historical area of the ancient Trieste. The main square Piazza Unità d’Italia, the Roman Theatre are just a few steps away and Congress Centre and Trieste’s Cruise Terminal are also nearby. The buidding housing of the Hotel James Joyce was built in 1770 and it was renovated in 2003, becoming the most characteristic hotels in town. If you use a satellite navigator (GPS), we recommend setting the following address: via Punta del Forno N° 5. In front of our hotel there is a public parking area called “zona viola”; the blue lines indicate spaces where parking is allowed upon payment from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Fee is € 1,65 per hour (€ 19,80 per day). During the night, on Sunday and on public holiday parking is free of charge
