Hotel Coral Cotillo Beach (Cotillo, Spain)

The staff at the hotel is very well trained and chivalrous. A number of guests were especially pleased with the reception staff and found their warmth, calm demeanour and speed in handling complaints and requests exceptionally praiseworthy.

The hotel is close to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The nightlife is quite vibrant and guests have the option of visiting the Spew Pit surf a few strolls away. Those wishing to visit a beach will find one right across the hotel and several others within walking distance.

The hotel is classy and modern. The decor is trendy and flows pleasantly from the entrance hall to the rooms to the surrounding areas. The poolside area was a guest favourite. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained with daily housekeeping is provided.

Quite a number of guests were unhappy with the Wi-Fi reception. Most stated that it kept cutting out at the most inopportune times and weren't too pleased to find out that to get a better signal they had to part with more money.

A few guests complained about the breakfast menu being monotonous. Common issues raised included the lack of variety and slowness to replenish dishes that ran out even though it was still early in the day.

A number of guests complained about the walls which appeared to be too thin. Noise from television sets and loud conversations carried easily from room to room and those who were light sleepers could not have a restful night's sleep.
