Good to know

  • Direct access to fishing lakes

Launch your boat from the on-site 24-hour ramp to access over 21,000 acres of bass fishing grounds on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes.

  • Diverse lodging and camping options

Choose from lodge rooms with trailer parking, cabins, or full-hookup RV sites that accommodate rigs up to 45 feet.

  • Limited dining and grocery access

The resort is located approximately 30 minutes from the nearest town, and on-site dining options have limited operating days and hours.

  • Guided airboat tour departures

Book an airboat tour departing from the property docks to explore the surrounding Florida wilderness and wildlife.

  • On-site dining and boat rentals

Rent golf carts or boats directly from the marina and dine at the on-site Freshwater Tavern or seasonal food truck.

  • Proximity to state park trails

Walk seven minutes to the adjacent Lake Kissimmee State Park to access over 20 miles of hiking and equestrian trails.

  • Limited cellular and internet service

Cellular service is inconsistent for many carriers, and Wi-Fi access requires a separate purchase through a third-party provider.

  • Potential noise from airboats

Frequent airboat traffic and weekend events can create significant noise levels throughout the property.

This unique retreat offers a peaceful and secluded natural setting, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a quiet escape into "Old Florida." Its signature feature is its strong connection to the outdoors, particularly appealing to fishing enthusiasts with excellent boat parking and proximity to the Kissimmee chain of lakes. The property is also highly recommended for families looking for a country getaway, providing a relaxed atmosphere where children can enjoy the open spaces. Couples seeking serenity will find the tranquil environment refreshing. To make the most of your stay, guests advise bringing your own snacks and essential supplies due to the remote location and limited on-site dining hours.
