Established in a romantic setting – in the hills and caves of Santorini – this hotel is sure to spoil you with a scenic view. Be it the volcano, the Aegean Sea, or the sunsets, the views here are thrilling. Every morning, you’re sure to enjoy seeing donkeys walking down the cobble stone streets.  Just make sure your room isn’t facing toward the south, though, where you’ll be greeted with an old quarry building.

Forget about sunbathing at this hotel’s tiny pool. There’s no area to sunbathe. The pool also sits right next to the dining area and bar, which can be odd looking.

A section of this hotel comprises old buildings of a former monastery. You will find some bathroom fittings are falling off. The poor water pressure from the shower and the tired, dirty tap might be a bother, too.

While you might hear some barks in the quarry at night, that shouldn’t destroy your holiday mood, really.
