Ballymaloe House Hotel

The 17th century house built onto a Norman castle is nestled within a 300 acre farm in rural East Cork only 20 miles from the historic city of Cork and Cork Airport, and minutes from the breathtaking south coast. Accommodation is simple and elegant and comes in all shapes and sizes, from large and airy to cosy including ground floor rooms in the courtyard. Beds are comfortable and fresh flowers are brought in from the garden every day. Cots and children's beds can be provided for smaller guests. Self-catering cottages are available. The principals in which food is prepared at Ballymaloe House have not changed since the dining room was opened to the public in 1964. The hosts prepare and serve food in a simple way.
