The 3-star Baan Bophut Beach Hotel is small, family-run and located on the beach in the Fisherman's Village, just a few moments walk from the wide variety of fine restaurants, bars and facilities of Bophut. With only 11 rooms, the resort's boutique nature allows guests to be indulged with attentive service amid a relaxing social experience. Many guests are return visitors, and more find their way to us by word of mouth. Although families are welcome, small children cannot be accommodated, and those with boisterous or noisy youngsters are discouraged. Accommodations include 8 comfortable, sea-facing rooms with shaded verandahs, 2 spacious loft rooms and one suite in which 3 or 4 friends can be accommodated. Rooms are furnished in a contemporary, south-east Asian design with king-sized beds. All rooms enjoy views of neighbouring islands including the largest, Koh Pha Ngan, 12km across Bophut Bay. Ground floor rooms have direct beach access. All other rooms feature sea-facing balconies. Each room is air-conditioned, with cable TV, DVD/CD player, a stocked refrigerator, tea & coffee making facilities and a safe. WiFi is free. Hair dryers, irons and boards are available on request. Laundry handed in by 12h00 is returned the following day. A continental breakfast, included in the room rate, is served in the beach front restaurant which also offers hot breakfasts, fruit shakes, Thai and western favourites throughout the day. The 'Beach Hut' beach bar is a popular spot to meet fellow guests, seek refreshment and enjoy Samui's spectacular sunsets. Cars and motorcycle hire, day trips and ticket reconfirmation can be arranged through Reception. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for rental by the hour on the beach.
