Positive Reviews

Excellent Affordability Factor.

Guests found the hotel quite affordable, however, they do mentioned that the rooms are rather basic. While they don't come with a bunch of extras you might find at more upscale accommodations, the guests here didn’t mind.

Neat and Cleanly Kept.

Guests repeatedly mentioned that the rooms are quite clean and everything seemed in order. They weren't expecting luxury accommodations, so they were happy with what they received.

Location Is Hard to Beat.

For guests looking for something in the heart of Woking, this is it. You're literally steps away from the train station and the city centre. That means it's conveniently close to restaurants, shopping malls, etc.

Negative Reviews

Front Is a Bit Noisy.

Guests staying in the front facing rooms mentioned that light from the streetlights enters the blinds and traffic can be heard pretty clearly. Some visitors recommend earplugs to help combat the train station and traffic noise. Others recommended asking for a rear room that faces away from the station.

Language Barrier Sometimes an Issue.

Some visitors mentioned that not everyone on the staff is fluent in English, so understanding them can be a bit difficult times. Other guests also mentioned that the staff can be a bit rude and short tempered. While some guests had no issue at all, others claimed the staff could be in a rather foul mood at times.

Ensuite is Minute.

A few guests remarked that the bathroom within the guestrooms is quite small. This is particularly true of the shower cubicle. Some guests mentioned that the wash basin takes a great deal of space within the bathroom. They also claim that larger guests may not be able to fit into such a tiny space.
