The food is terrific.

Guests gave a resounding thumbs up to the hotel restaurant – and for all meals, although Sunday brunch sausages seem to be a particular favourite. The gin pantry and tasting sessions are also very popular with discerning guests.

Bathrooms are a bit small.

Even though guests gave the bathrooms in general rave reviews, some commented that they found them a bit too small. Some guests also recommended getting a room upgrade if available.

Bigger portions and more veggies.

While guests complimented the food, there were some who wrote that they wished for bigger portions and more vegetables.

The beds can be a bit soft.

While some guests reviewed the room beds as unbelievably comfortable, especially with high thread count Egyptian sheets, there were a few who felt the beds were too soft.
