About Tracy Park Golf and Country

The historic Tracy Park Golf and Country Club is set in Wick; in the Cotswolds countryside and close to the M4 and Bath.

Rooms in a Cotswold stone courtyard setting, range from traditional double or twin, through to luxury 4 poster.  All feature flat screen colour television and beverage making facilities.

Free parking is available, plus complimentary Wi-Fi in communal areas. The attractive gardens and 2 golf courses are impressive focal points!  Facilities at Tracy Park Golf and Country Club are designed for meetings, conferences, social events, weddings and licensed civil ceremonies.

Breakfast and later dining in Masons Restaurant add to the resort experience, with imaginative menus using much fresh local produce and ingredients.  Sunday lunch here is a popular feature.

Author, Anna Sewell was a frequent guest here and it is said that, understandably,  this setting inspired her to write ‘Black Beauty’.

Positive Reviews

No handicap for golfers.

In addition to the 2 courses, one of which has unsurpassed views over the Cotswolds, there’s a putting course, short game and driving area; not forgetting Spikes Bar, popular with golfers and non golfers alike!

Ultra convenient location.

It’s only a few miles from both Bath and Bristol and is just off the M4, making it easily accessed for Londoners in search of a break, away from it all. There is a definite appeal for golfers but the facilities here, plus the accessibility to the Cotswold

Great dining and drinking choices.

Spikes Bar is a friendly environment in which to unwind and swap golfing tales, reflecting on days out in the Cotswolds or maybe shopping experiences in fabulous Bath, just 4 miles away. On the food front, there’s sufficient quality and choice to impress

Negative Reviews

Disappointing breakfast.

Service is slow and items, even the basic ones, not replaced. A disappointing experience.

Dampened dining enthusiasm.

The accommodation block is separate from the communal areas including the bar and restaurant. If raining, prepare to arrive bedraggled having galloped through the rain from one area to the other.

Early bar closing if quiet.

Understandable in a way but it’s no comfort to the few guests who are staying to find that they can’t get a drink.
