About Esklet

Esklet is set in a late-Victorian residence in the heart of Whitby, just ten minutes' walk from the acclaimed Captain Cook Memorial Museum. A warm welcome and a quaint, homely vibe characterise a stay at this traditional guest house.

Snug, individually decorated guest rooms with old-world furnishings feature flat-screen TVs, mini fridges, and refreshment trays. Some accommodations have antique-style brass bed frames; all but one have an en-suite bathrooms.

Guests can take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the property. On-street parking permits are offered for an extra charge. Minimum stay rules apply during the high season.

A freshly cooked English breakfast (included with some rates) is served daily in a cosy dining room with fireplace. Silver Street Fisheries, a popular fish-and-chip takeaway, is a five-minute walk away.

Esklet is 550 metres from Whitby Beach, and 800 metres from the train station. Whitby Abbey, famed as the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula novel, is just over a kilometre away.
