Beautiful Location on Clew Bay

This hotel is located off the beaten path, but still close enough to Westport to enjoy all it has to offer. Directly on Clew Bay, this hotel is perfect to use as a home base for exploring County Mayo, with easy access for day trips to Achill Island, Westport, and Connemara. Walking trails and bicycle treks are accessible from this hotel.

Fantastic Irish Hospitality

They provide excellent, generous Irish hospitality. Guests say the staff make you feel like family, and are eager to engage in conversation.

Putting the Breakfast in B&B

Breakfast is well-cooked, and they use locally-sourced ingredients to prepare beautiful dishes. They offer a traditional full Irish breakfast, made-to-order. Be sure to try the homemade soda bread and homemade jams. Coffee and tea are available all day long.

Negative Reviews

Hard to Find B&B

Guests say that this hotel can be rather difficult to find, as it doesn't have a street address that a GPS can find. It would be best to sort out the directions before you travel, perhaps by asking the hosts the best way to go.

Poor Wi-Fi Signal

As this hotel is not in a city centre, the Wi-Fi is a bit tricky. Service is quite poor and at times almost nonexistent.

Rooms Lack Some Amenities

Guests are disappointed to find that rooms do not have a kettle to make your own tea and coffee. Also, there are no toiletries available in bathrooms, like shampoo and body wash, so be sure to pack your own.
