Positive Reviews

An Endearing Convenient Locale

What more could you want in a location? If you’re looking for a stunning landscape and fantastic views, merged with a few interesting locations, you’ve found the right place. The view broadens across Clew Bay, a gorgeous sunset is all yours just a few yards away, and the Atlantic shore is right in your view. The towns of Louisburgh and Westport are not far.

Fantastic Homelike Ambiance

The B&B host is just as sweet as her homemade goodies! Upon your arrival you are provided with tea and homemade scones that you can enjoy by the fireplace. Tea making facilities are included in the cosy styled rooms. The private bathroom is a nice size. All of this coupled with a gracious host who knows how to please, and you may never want to leave! It’s simply a good old-fashioned B&B that offers a cordial welcome that you will find most appealing.

Breakfast Of Champions

You will not walk away hungry from this B&B. Your eyes will definitely be bigger than your stomach! The home baked brown bread and marmalade are scrumptious. You have a choice of sausages, eggs, bacon, pudding, the whole nine-yards. There is also a buffet choice of fresh produce like fruit and yoghurt. The food is simply something you don’t want to miss out on during your stay.

Negative Reviews

Coloured Water From The Tap

Something is wrong with the tap water. It comes out a dark colour, which means it’s not good for drinking and you should take care when showering as well.

Rooms Are Small

Rooms are small, so it can get a bit cramped if you are sharing your accommodation with other people.

Unbecoming Mouldy Smell

You may encounter a mouldy smell, which is probably due to the old furnishings.
