Positive Reviews

Keeping up standards

There is a sense of relaxed style in this hotel – and that’s a good thing! Rooms and communal areas are kept thoroughly clean by staff who are hard working and cheerful.

Bring me sunshine'!

It’s not guaranteed anywhere of course but Costa del Sol has more sunshine than most European hot spots If seeking to eke out the last rays of the sun, top floor rooms with pool views tend to get the sun all day!

No quibbles about bar and food

No queuing for drinks here; the bar staff are well clued up and on their toes, eager to ensure that nobody is kept waiting. In the restaurant, food is varied as they try to cater for all tastes, plus it is well presented and good quality.

Negative Reviews

Dated rooms

They’re a throwback to the ‘70s in style. Beds are firm (*OK, they’re hard!), rather than soft and towels are of thin quality; not up to the standard of a hotel like this.

You can’t please everyone

The entertainment – naturally – can’t be universally popular. Tip: if looking for an alternative, try the Irish bar across the road and let your hair down there.

Communal facilities fall flat

Seating can be at a premium on the sun terrace during the day and at night, in the bar. Also and strangely, toilets are miles away from the bar so, by the time you get there, the need will probably have disappeared!
