Positive Reviews

Perfectly to order, every time.

While eating in the onsite restaurant guests will find that there can be no wrong done when it comes to the food. The food is cooked perfectly to specifications, and deliciously prepared. Any guests with dietary requirements will find that they are well catered for.

Great range of ales.

The bar/lounge area is a great place for guests to mingle with locals, and to spend an evening after a long day out. The wide range of ales on tap provide a flavour for everyone who may be so inclined.

Large and comfortable rooms.

The rooms are spacious, and comfortably decorated, so guests travelling together wont feel cramped, and wont feel as though they are stepping on top of one another. The furnishings are pleasant, and well maintained throughout.

Negative Reviews

Poor shower experience.

The water pressure in most shower at Carbeile Inn is rather low, and the hot water seems to run out very quickly. Over all, this is not an experience one may like, especially when in the middle of winter!

No supplied toiletries.

There are no complimentary toiletries, which is not always a given in hotels. Guests who haven't brought their own will find that the nearby grocery store has plenty of options for them to select from to see to their needs.

Not as cheap as one might hope.

Due to it's prime location near to the HMS Raleigh, and the ferry port, Carbeile Inn has higher prices than one would pay for another inn of the same caliber not near anything important. Guests wont be disappointed paying for the conveniences though.
