Positive Reviews

Everything you want in a room.

The rooms at Blackgreaves Farmhouse made a great impression on guests. They were found to be clean and undeniably comfortable, with unexpected extras like heated floors and toiletries to spare. Guests loved characterful decor that was a mix of traditional and rustic, plus the added bonus of a powerful shower and individually controlled thermostats.

Make yourself at home.

With only four rooms, guests sometimes felt like they had the house to themselves. Generous staff encouraged guests to make use of the facilities, such as the kitchen for cooking an evening meal, and the comfortably equipped lounge, complete with honesty bar and a large sofa for enjoying a movie.

So close, yet so far away.

Guests liked the peace and quiet found at this bed and breakfast. With expansive views of the Warwickshire countryside, guests said that it was easy to relax and unwind here. Yet shops and restaurants, including a highly rated Indian restaurant, and the NEC exhibition centre are minutes away.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast not included.

Guests were disappointed to find that breakfast was an extra cost. Some guests liked the flexibility of not being tied down to attending breakfast, but most wished that it was included in the price of the room. And despite favourable reports of a tasty spread prepared in a huge kitchen, several guests thought that the price was a bit steep.

Absent owner.

This bed and breakfast has a hostess who greets guests at a prearranged time. While this suited some guests, others would have preferred that someone was on-site at all times. A few guests encountered a wait for their room key.

Unpredictable Wi-Fi.

It seems that Blackgreaves Farmhouse hosts quite a few business guests. Unfortunately some of those guests experienced slower than expected Wi-Fi.
