Positive Reviews

Good Locale.

You'll find all you need in this basic, tidy, no frills spot. Walking distance to city centre, this superb location offers a quaint, cosy, budget accommodation and free parking in the back. (If you opt for a quieter, back-facing unit, although a bit smaller than the front-facing, you can park directly outside your room)  There's a lovely park just adjacent for a nice evening stroll into town.  Rooms are clean and well-appointed, many newly renovated.  Wi-Fi works well and you can leave your luggage up front until early afternoon!

A Hearty, Basic Breakfast.

You won't find much fresh fruit or yoghurt here, but if you like perfect fried eggs, thick bacon and tasty sausages, (all meats are delivered straight from the butcher shop daily), you're in the right place!

Staff Will Win Your Heart.

Pascal, the owner, is a dream with his superior people skills, and will have guests laughing their way throughout their entire stay!  Don't be surprised if he grabs your luggage to carry upstairs for you.  He'll have maps out detailing the best routes to your desired destinations and introduce everyone to each other at breakfast to keep the fun atmosphere rolling.  In his absence, you'll also enjoy the lovely Vivian, who entertains and shines in her own way.

Negative Reviews

Needs an Upgrade.

Although some areas have already seen a recent renovation, others are still on the list (or should be); plenty of outdated decor and bedding which has seen better days, water pressure and temperature issues while guests are showering and tiny rooms/bathrooms.

Noise & Light.

Bring your earplugs and eye masks; front-facing rooms endure traffic noise and bright early light.

Attic Rooms = Nope.

Skip the attic rooms; they are the least enjoyable in almost every way.  Worst showers, not cleaned well, uncomfortable beds.
