Positive Reviews

Quiet location with decent rooms and a lovely garden

The guesthouse is in a relatively quiet section of town, with the back rooms receiving the least amount of outside noise Rooms are spacious, and also have interesting décor features, mostly a mix of Asian florals and bright feminine designs, with a bit of quaint country touches The garden is a nice relaxing space to enjoy a snack or unwind after a day of exploring.

Owner provides discount tickets for attractions

It's always a plus when there's someone who can help you have the best time possible during your stay The owner will advise you on itineraries and particular sites of interest that may be lesser known He also provides coupons or discount info for any attractions that you may be visiting.

Convenient base for shopping and sightseeing

For those preferring a home style retreat from the hustle and bustle of shopping and touring, Arden Park is perfect A lot can be reached via walking, including the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club, and Bancroft Gardens, which are only 10-15 minute strolls away.

Negative Reviews

Parking is inconvenient and tricky if you move

Parking can be a nuisance, since it's in a highly frequented lot about 300 feet away You need to obtain the hotel's voucher beforehand, and remember that an empty spot can be nabbed within minutes.

Breakfast is just the basics and nothing special

Breakfast has the usual yoghurt, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit It's appreciated but nothing memorable Not having a made-to-order English meal is disappointing,.

Owner can seem brisk with change in plans

The owner's response to changes in reservations, check-ins, or other issues is occasionally seen as unsympathetic or difficult He schedules hotel hours around his own time, so something that affects the balance is subject to curt reactions.
