Positive Reviews

Very family-friendly atmosphere

It is clear to see that families make up the bulk of the hotel's custom This leads the Best Western Stoke East as a whole to have a very wholesome, family-friendly vibe which children of all ages (and their parents) can appreciate.

Extremely convenient location

It's not every day you get to stay somewhere where you can visit the UK's biggest theme park and explore England's most popular national park in the same weekend The fact that there is a Tesco store (for petrol and packed lunch supplies) across the road is the icing on the cake.

Really lovely staff

The management are doing something very right here as everyone – and it does seem like everyone – working at the Best Western Stoke East is full of genuine enthusiasm and endeavour Truly, you'll find it hard to discover another hotel - luxury or budget – which feels as friendly and welcoming as this one.

Negative Reviews

Noisy hallway doors

The hotel has the type of doors in its corridors that make a loud bang every time they're closed Suffice to say, this can be more than a little irritating if one of them is located within earshot of your room and you're a light sleeper.

Staffing levels seem low at times

As cheery and friendly as they are, the staff here tend to be a bit thin on the ground at times Not a big issue you may think, but it is a little disconcerting to arrive at a hotel only to find there is no-one there – not even a night porter – to check you in.

Small issues don't spoil your holiday

To be honest, an absence of staff (at times) and noisy hallway doors are really the only negative aspects to note about this hotel.
