Positive Reviews

Nice And Homey.

The premises are amiable, comfortable, and welcoming. The service is excellent. Staff is pleasant and obliging. Rooms are contemporary with an authentic ambiance. The building is old in a shabby-chic kind of way. It's very tastefully furnished.

The Food Is Good.

The food is of a high standard with a variety of sandwiches and other quality meals. Breakfast is superb!

Outside Dining.

There is a place for outside dining or simply to enjoy a nice drink. It's quite relaxing if you can ignore the noise from the street.

Negative Reviews

On The Road To Nowhere.

The pub is on an extremely busy main road, so be prepared to encounter lots of traffic noise during the night and into the morning hours. If your room happens to be over the kitchen, you can expect noise from there as well.

Is The Boiler Boiling?.

Better check in the morning before you turn on the water for a shower. It seems that the hotel's boiler has to be turned on manually and it's not unusual for the staff to forget to turn it on!

It's A Matchbox.

The rooms are a bit small and basic for the price you pay. You may find some things not working properly like sockets to plug in your devices. The Wi-Fi is iffy at best.
