Peaceful and picturesque location.

The hotel is perched on a hill top offering stunning views which the guests thoroughly enjoyed. Those who came here to get away from busy city life appreciated the fact that the hotel is located far enough away from the hustle and bustle thus ensuring peaceful and quite evenings.

Clean and well-presented rooms.

The rooms have been described as clean and tidy with many guests stating that high hygiene levels were maintained throughout the property. The decor was said to be equally pleasing featuring modern and stylish pieces of furniture and upholstery whilst the bathrooms were also said to be well-presented.

Tasty and hearty breakfasts.

Guests were very complimentary with regards to the breakfasts served on the premises, stating that they were impressed with the wide range of items on offer. Many who chose to have the freshly prepared dishes said that they were cooked to perfection and made using high quality produce. If you like to start your day with a hearty meal then you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Negative Reviews

Restrictive breakfast times.

The breakfasts are served between 8:30 and 9:30 which many found rather inconvenient as they only had an hour’s window to have their morning meal. Guests objected to the fact that they were not able to have a lie-in at weekends due to the inflexible breakfast time.

Tiring walk back from town.

The hotel is situated on hilltop and quite a few guests said that they found it rather tiring climbing up the steep hill on their way back from the centre of St Ives which prompted some to hire taxis.

Internet connection issues.

Guests who wanted to access the Internet from their rooms said that the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and intermittent as they found it difficult to maintain a steady connection.
