Aside from the delicious food and drink, the Lighthouse Bistro also offers a dining experience unlike many others by putting diners in the midst of an art show Many paintings are displayed all around the restaurant for you to enjoy while you dine.

Superb bay and harbour views

For the guest rooms with windows overlooking the town and beach below, the view is what makes your experience special The same can be said for the sun room and breakfast area which have floor-to-ceiling windows.

Location is lively but still peaceful

While the Chy an Albany Hotel is a few minutes' walk to the main attractions of St Ives and its environs, guests can still enjoy some peace and quiet at this hotel on a hill.

Smaller rooms may not suite long stays

The smallest rooms have relatively small bathrooms which may not be ideal for some, especially if staying for more than a few days By all accounts, it is worth spending the extra money for Deluxe rooms for added comfort, a balcony and a view.

Walking up and down hill may not suit all

Getting to the town and the beach for some involves taking the walk down the hill and back up to the hotel For those that prefer not to trek however, there are several local taxis and of course you can take your own car.
