Positive Reviews

Super value for money

This hotel is cheap enough that you might expect the worst but it's actually a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and there is plenty of free parking. The Wi-Fi doesn't always work in public areas but is perfect in the rooms.

Great hospitality

The people that run this small hotel are extremely customer focused and they will do all they can to make you feel welcome. In fact, the place is so cosy that you can't help but stop to have a chat with the staff. They're also great for advice on the local area.

Delicious food on the menu

The food served up at this hotel isn't the standard pub style food you'd expect but something altogether much more delicious. Everything is very well prepared and you get the feeling that a lot of work went into the menu.

Negative Reviews

No lift

If you are getting along in years or you have some mobility issues, then this is not the place for you. The rooms are up a steep set of stairs and there is no lift. This is most likely due to the age of this old building and not really the fault of the owners.

No further issues reported

So far, there has been no further negative opinion expressed about this hotel.
