Positive Reviews

Food really is top-notch.

Gloriously tasty breakfasts and a really good range of innovative and enticing mains: this is undoubtedly the place to come if you like fine dining. Top Tip: the fillet of sea bass with air-dried tomatoes and pickled fennel adorned with Pernod cream is a

Staff are just superb.

Efficient and professional yet highly personable, the team at The Blyth know exactly what it takes to make you feel like a valued guest. Other hotels could do with sending their staff members here to take notes. Exceptional.

Beds are very comfortable.

Southwold isn't the cheapest seaside resort to stay in these days so you'll want to ensure you enjoy that most basic of necessities i.e. a good night's sleep when you visit. Happily this is something you are pretty much guaranteed at The Blyth as the beds

If you're a relatively tall person then you may well have to perform an amateur contortionist act whenever you need to 'go' in your room. The en-suite loos in many of The Blythe's guest rooms are more than a little compact!

Free Wi- Fi is limited.

Whilst some guest bedrooms receive a strong, reliable signal, others get virtually nothing at all. Thankfully, the signal in reception is excellent.
