Positive Reviews

Basic but impressive rooms.

Reviews of the Premier Inn Mansfield indicate that guests are impressed by the standard of the rooms. They are basic but modern, kept spotlessly clean and include a reasonable selection of amenities.

Exceptional customer service.

Guests comment favourably about the customer service offered at the Premier Inn Mansfield. A warm welcome sounds like it comes as standard but guests also remark that the service throughout their stay is genuinely friendly.

Hotel and facilities offer great value.

Rates at this hotel often compare favourably to those at other hotels in the area, although it does help to confirm your stay in advance. The fact that the rates include basic Wi-Fi and parking adds extra value. It’s worth checking out the hotel's meal deals too.

Negative Reviews

Dining occasionally disappoints.

Although many guests were more than happy with their experience at the Castlewood Brewers Fayre, not everyone was quite so enamoured. The problem is not so much the food but rather the service which several guests described as chaotic.

Rooms get too hot.

While guests are impressed by the standard of the rooms, a fair number comment that the lack of air-conditioning is a problem. You’ll want to open the windows to cool things down but this will leave you able to hear traffic noise from the M1.

Occasional problems with the Wi-Fi.

Reviews occasionally refer to problems connecting to the Internet. Several guests found the service slow and patchy while others were unable to connect at all. It does seem sufficient for basic use but anything beyond that will probably require that you upgrade.
