Tasso Suites Hotel, also known as Tasso Suites Sorrento is situated just a few minutes’ walk from Piazza Tasso, Sorrento’s main square.

Rooms are modern and bright. Facilities include air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television, media hub and Wi-Fi. Apartments have a kitchen and roller shutters. Some feature a balcony.

There is free wireless Internet throughout and a lift to all floors. Reception is open twenty-four hours a day. Parking can also be arranged.

Piazzo Tasso and Piazza San Antonino are only one minute’s walk away. The port, bus and train stations are five minutes on foot. Excursions include the Amalfi Drive, which winds along the scenic coastline and the picturesque town of Positano which is forty-five minutes by car.

Family-Run and Welcoming.

The hotel and apartments is a family-run business and this ensures that guests feel especially welcome and at home in their holiday accommodation. The team of cleaning staff keep the entire hotel immaculately clean.

Useful Gadgets and Appliances.

The Wi-Fi is free to use throughout the hotel. Within the rooms there is also a media hub. The mini fridge in each room is appreciated by guests, as is the ability to make teas and coffees. There is also the option for mood lighting at night.

Central Location in Sorrento.

The accommodation is excellently located right in the heart of Sorrento. It’s ideal to explore the town on foot, which is packed with shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is likewise just a few minutes’ walk away. For transport links to and from the town, the port, bus and train stops are all five to ten minutes on foot.

Negative Reviews

Noisy at Times.

Tasso Suites are located in a small side street and is somewhat immune to the worst of the traffic noise. Nevertheless it can get noisy at night, from traffic and people, however most felt this was a small price to pay to be in such a convenient location.

Spotty Wi-Fi Signal.

A few found their devices couldn’t catch the free Wi-Fi signal, which is weaker in some areas of the building than others. However, majority of guests were delighted with the strength and speed of the signal.

Extra Apartment Cleaning Cost.

Those who rent an apartment with kitchenette may find that their rooms aren’t automatically cleaned on a daily basis and that it is charged as an extra daily rate.
