Close to sightseeing attractions.

The hotel is just 1.8 miles away from the sandy Sheringham Beach which has been awarded the Blue Flag and is very popular with holidaymakers. Guests also appreciated being close to Sheringham Park, famous for its rhododendrons and azaleas.

Comfortable and elegant communal areas.

There are several well- appointed lounges where guests can sit and read a newspaper or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. During warm weather guests can sit outside with their drinks and enjoy the views of the gardens. Many also complimented the elegant decor

Lack of scenic view.

Some guests were disappointed to find that their room did not have a nice view but instead was overlooking the car park. If you are keen on having a picturesque view, make sure you mention it to the staff before booking.

Slow service at breakfast.

The service at breakfast time was described as quite disappointing as some guests had to wait longer than expected in order to get their meals. Some complained that there were too few staff on hand to deal with various requests and queries.

Problems with Wi-Fi.

The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi in the guest rooms yet many had problems connecting to the internet. Those who needed to access the internet had to go down to the reception area where the signal was said to be better.
