Positive Reviews

Outstanding Meal Options

This hotel puts a high focus on quality food. They specialise in smoking foods, especially meats. Guests highly recommend the smoked salmon starter, and for the main course, the Argentinian filet steak, which is superb. For dessert, nothing beats their great creme brulee.

Excellent Hospitality

The staff at this hotel are friendly and welcoming. They provide the highest levels of guest service, and are extremely attentive to guests' needs. The atmosphere is one of family, and staff are always available if you need them. As a bonus, your dog is most welcome should you choose.

Comfortable Accommodations

Rooms are clean, light, and airy. They are decorated in an old cottage style and come with everything you need, including hairdryer, ironing facilities, and quality toiletries. You'll also enjoy great views over old Wrotham.

Negative Reviews

Bathroom Needs Updating

Guests say that en suite bathrooms seem tiny, with small wash basins and low water pressure. Other attention to detail is lacking as well, such as floor tiles cracking. Bathrooms are in need of an update to get up to par with the guest rooms.

Thin Walls Lead to Noise Issues

Guests report that the noise insulation in between rooms is virtually non-existent. Every move made sounds thunderous due in large part to the bare floorboards, which, while they add character to the hotel, do in fact make it very noisy.

Poor Wi-Fi Connexion

Guests say the Wi-Fi signal can be intermittent at best, and is indeed quite slow. If you have need to be on your electronic device, this may prove difficult.
