About The Dalesman Country Inn

The Dalesman Country Inn is a stone-built revamped coaching inn in the heart of the pretty Cumbrian market town of Sedbergh. Set amid the scenic Yorkshire Dales National Park, it’s about five miles from the M6.

Tastefully-decorated rooms boast an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities and a digital TV. Selected upgrade rooms add boutique details like tweed fabrics and wet rooms separated by glass walls. There’s also a self-catering cottage.

Facilities include outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi, parking nearby and a ground floor lounge-bar and restaurant.

A full English breakfast is available and guests can enjoy cask ales in the bar featuring log-burners. Locally-sourced produce, homemade ice cream and Sunday roast lunches are on the restaurant menu.

Surrounded by gorgeous walking and cycling terrain, the Dalesman Country Inn is about 40 minutes’ drive from beautiful Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park and the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct.
