This traditional family business consists of the main house, the 4-star-hotel Die Barbara, and the second house, the new apartment hotel Zur Barbara and is managed with much cordiality by the owner family. The unique central location of both houses directly at the world-famous Planai stadion and amidst the holiday region Schladming-Dachstein offers a relaxing holiday adventure to guests throughout the year. In winter skiers start directly in front of the hotel for an unforgettable skiing day at the Planai or the 4-mountain ski resort Schladming-Dachstein, without using the car or the bus. In summer you can experience a variety of different holiday activities right outside the front door of the hotel, which you can use for the most part with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard free of charge or at a reduced rate.

The main house of the family business, Hotel Die Barbara, was completely renovated in 2007 and turned into a modern 4-star hotel. The rooms and suites are designed generously and with much love for detail and are characterized by first-class design and pleasant coloration.
