Positive Reviews

Good location near North Bay

Guests like the location of this guesthouse, just a short walk from the beach by Scarborough's North Bay and Peasholme Park. It is also ideal for cricket enthusiasts - just a few minutes away from the cricket ground by foot. Guests find lots of nice restaurants nearby to eat-out in, not to mention some exquisite fish and chips!

Great breakfasts

The one thing most guests remember about their stay is their delicious breakfast. They are very tasty and filling and most of all varied! Those with special dietary requirements, also go away feeling happy as the hosts prepare them special options.

Cosy ambiance

Guests feel good at this guesthouse thanks not only to the warm welcome of their hosts but also the lovely rooms with comfortable beds and nice hot showers.

Negative Reviews

Tiny bathrooms

Whilst it is a nice bonus to have an en-suite bathroom, guests do find them to be very small. Even if they understand that if there is no more space to build a bigger room and that there's not a lot the owners can do, it doesn't change the fact that you don't have much room to move about!

Parking is difficult

Although you have a small car park available to you or a free permit to park on the street, finding a space for your car is not that easy. The roads are often choc-a-block and even when there is space in the car park, it is not the easiest place to maneuver.

Guests are not all dog-friendly

The guesthouse attracts many dog owners, who are naturally thrilled that their four-legged companions can share their room with them. This, however, is not to everyone's liking. Guests complain sometimes of being disturbed by dogs barking.
