About Harmony Country Lodge

On the scenic edge of the North York Moors, the 4 star Harmony Country Lodge offers en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation in peaceful surroundings, 3 miles north of Scarborough.

En-suite rooms include free Wi-Fi, colour TV, radio and tea and coffee facilities.  A fully equipped static caravan, though, sleeps up to 5 people and is an attractive self catering alternative.

There is free parking and the octagonal Harmony Country lodge has a licensed lounge and a conservatory.  It is the HQ of The international Church and Healing Fellowship and holds a licence for the solemnisation of marriages.

Breakfast, including vegetarian choices, is served in the dining room. There are numerous later dining options in Scarborough and the popular Three Jolly Sailors is less than a mile away.

This unusually attractive building offers easy access to the North York Moors, Whitby, Filey, Scarborough and the dramatic North Yorkshire coast.

Positive Reviews

Nice accommodation; quirky, attractive property.

This octagonal property enjoys spectacular views. There are 12 low rise steps leading up to it though, which might deter disabled guests. Sitting in attractive gardens and on the edge of the North York Moors, it has an air of tranquility plus there is t

Comfortable rooms.

Rooms contain everything you could need and enjoy some really stunning views. The garden is superb.

The warmest of welcomes.

Long established hosts are justly proud of their B+B and are only too happy to tell you all about the surrounding area and its attractions.

Negative Reviews

Tight flight.

Stairs to the 1st floor are narrow and difficult for even the average size person to navigate.

Keeping up appearances.

The place is cluttered with ornaments and – you’ve guessed it – flock wallpaper!

Let there be light.

And there is … lots of light. Streaming through the thin curtains as dawn breaks. Incidentally, the en-suites are tiny too.
