Central yet quiet location

Adelino Hostal is well situated in San Antonio It’s central to town and the beach; you can walk to both in about ten minutes Also, the bus is a five- to ten-minute walk and the highway easily accessible There’s laundry and a supermarket nearby and it’s about a ten-minute walk to the nightlife, which is perfect because it’s quiet enough for a good night’s sleep.

Friendly staff and good rooms

The hostel is family run and very welcoming Staff is helpful and will let you check-in a bit early our out a bit late if at all possible The rooms are bright and clean and the beds very comfy Make sure you request a room with a balcony It’s lovely sit out at night and watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

Great value stay in above average hostel

The quality of the service, rooms and amenities is excellent for a hostel and better than many in San Antonio While the pool is small, it’s still a nice perk and the beach is just a ten-minute walk The free Wi-Fi works well and the minibar is great for holding a few drinks and snacks Breakfast is good and prices for food and beverages very reasonable.

Negative Reviews

No in-room coffee/tea facilities

It would be nice to have coffee/tea facilities in the room, to brew and enjoy a cup on the balcony It’s a minor detail but would be a nice addition.

Accessibility of sockets

Sockets in the rooms are somewhat limited, making it difficult to charge your electronics You may have to move some furniture around to charge your phone or laptop.
