Location is Grand.

Guests who have reported on their stay at the Rye Lodge have been extremely pleased with the location of the hotel. Guests have been able to walk to the medieval town of Rye. There is also free parking for guests of the hotel, and that can be a commodity in busy seasons.

Friendly Staff.

Guests have had good things to report on the staff at the Rye Lodge. Staff members have been very accommodating to the guests, from the reception staff to the dining staff. They reportedly make the hotel feel welcoming and warm to those staying there.

Clean Grounds.

The grounds of the facility have been reported as being well-maintained. The hotel itself, the rooms and bathrooms, the spa and the pool area have all been mentioned as being very clean and well-kept.

Rooms Are Small.

Guests have reported that though the rooms are kept very clean, they are quite small in size, especially the budget rooms. However, guests have only mentioned it in passing, going on to brag about the cleanliness and other details.

Pool is Small.

Guests have mentioned that the pool is rather small in size, but it is clean and has a sauna included. You just might be better soaking, rather than swimming laps. Also, guests have reported that the pool room needs some updating, but it in minor issues more than cleanliness or other major areas.

Rooms Overlooking Road Are Noisy.

The rooms overlooking the road have been reported as being much louder than the rooms overlooking the car park. If noise is a concern for you, you might consider booking a room in the back.
