Positive Reviews

The price is right

You can’t knock the tariff. It’s very cheap to stay here. If money is your absentee god; this is the place for you. Car parking is surprisingly easy to sort out.

The location is ace

Most people can walk virtually anywhere, so all the major sites are easily accessible. If you don’t fancy walking or if you really can’t do it, the metro lines at nearby Termini will take you wherever you want to go.

Friendly staff

Members of staff are friendly and help with any directions and advice that may be required. Rooms vary in size with those taking more than two people apparently being quite spacious.

Negative Reviews

‘Beauty’ is in the eye of the beholder …

The room is very small and lit very darkly! It isn’t cheerful or inviting in any way. Everything is very dated and even in this light, it doesn’t look particularly clean. Outside, the street is dirty and quite menacing at night.

Extras! Extras! … read all about them

There are so many extra charges here that what started off as being an economy break suddenly becomes quite expensive. In this summer heat and humidity, they even charge for the air-conditioning. If you don’t want to pay (and who does?) opening the windows can help a bit, but this lets the noise in too.

A night-time drought

The lift can only really take one person, so that is of little or no use. There seem to be a number of apartments in Rome where rooms are let out to visitors. It’s easy to mistake these places as being guesthouses. Including this one, they are decidedly not in that category. A tip! ... it is advisable to get all your ablutions done before midnight. That’s when they turn the water off.
