About High Corner Inn

High Corner Inn is a traditional inn in a remote, forest location, down a gravel track in the New Forest National Park.

There are five doubles and two twins, one of which can be set up as a family room. Each has a flat-screen TV with DVD player, desk with lamp, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Some have sleigh beds and exposed beams.

The hotel has a lock-up facility for bikes, free parking and dogs and horses are welcome; with stabling available with prior notice. There is a children's play area, menu options for little ones and cots and highchairs are also available.

Locally sourced British cuisine is served, seasonal beers, daily specials, a carvery on Sundays and an open fire in Winter.

High Corner Inn is seven-miles from Ringwood and the popular attractions of Bovington Tank Museum, Highcliffe Castle and Paultons Leisure Park are within easy reach.

Positive Reviews

Off the beaten track.

The High Corner Inn is the ideal spot for a fun-filled break; set in woodland, down a gravel track, it is an isolated retreat in the heart of the New Forest. There are numerous tracks for long walks, bike or horse-riding; just remember to pack a good map.

Relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks, in part, to the friendly, helpful staff, the atmosphere at the hotel is easy-going. The bar is a wonderful spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal, drink and chat with the locals who frequent the pub.

Dogs welcome.

Hotels don't come much more dog-friendly than the High Corner Inn. Four-legged friends are welcome in both the pub and rooms and, with numerous walks in the vicinity and a cosy fire to laze in-front of after, previous guests have said that their dogs enjo

Negative Reviews

Little connection to the outside world.

Mobile service is very poor and, if you're wanting to stay in touch with the outside world during your stay, you may find it difficult. There is Wi-Fi in the bar but it is patchy and shouldn't be relied upon.

Uninspiring menu.

Don't expect anything more than just good, home-cooked pub grub and you won't be disappointed. Some guests suggest that the menu could be a little more adventurous, however, most have only good things to say about the quality of the food and portions are
