Positive Reviews

Beautiful garden setting

When you sit down to relax in the lush gardens at Gibbon Bridge Hotel, guests say you might just feel like royalty. You can enjoy a cup of tea, or order a snack; whatever you choose, you might not want to leave too soon.

Breakfast had all the English trimmings

Some visitors have said that this is the best breakfast they have ever had at a hotel. Even though every English dish you can think of is included, none of the food was greasy, and guests have reported that the coffee was totally amazing too.

Love the split level

The guest rooms at Gibbon Bridge are, according to almost all guests, very spacious, luxurious, and virtually perfect. The split level creates an upscale vibe, and some guests have even been found to extend their stays by an extra day or two.

Negative Reviews

Acoustic insulation could be better

If you prefer not to hear your neighbour's conversations you should think about bringing a pair of ear plugs with. There have been some complaints about the thin walls, however maybe you could just book a room at the end of the passage where it is quieter.

Rooms too hot, or too cold

It would seem as if there has been an issue with the radiator heating and cooling system, as some visitors have complained about their rooms being too hot, while others feel that it was way to cool; regardless there are portable heating and cooling systems if you encounter this problem.
