Good customer service.

For the most part, there were positive remarks related to customer service. Several people said they found staff members to be very warm, friendly and welcoming during the course of their stays.

Situated in an excellent location.

The location is a big draw to this property. There were positive comments about the hotel's nearness to the marina and area cafes and restaurants. Much is within walking distance.

A couple of additional perks.

People said they felt the rooms were spacious in size. There were also positive remarks from guests who said they enjoyed the nice pool area outside.

Negative Reviews

In need of some TLC and better maintenance.

There were a number of complaints related to the property being in need of TLC and better routine maintenance. Some people said the lawns needed to be mowed and the facilities looked tired. There were also negative comments about appliances and furnishings in some of the accommodations being broken. Additionally, several guests said the facilities could be a bit cleaner and the showers needed to be fixed as they drained poorly.

A couple of issues with rooms.

There were comments about some of the units lacking black out curtains, which was a problem in the morning. A few guests who booked rooms with double beds said they found the beds uncomfortable as they were two mattresses pushed together and not what they had been expecting.

May be noisy at times.

There were also some negative remarks about the facilities being noisy at times due to other guests running around and poor sound insulation. People who may be distracted by loud disturbances should take note.
