Positive Reviews

Beautifully presented rooms

The rooms here are often a pleasant surprise to guests. Having undergone a complete refurbishment, the rooms are found to be clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The included amenities have proved satisfactory and guests have loved the views.

Good variety of food in the restaurant

Although a few guests mention that they thought breakfast would benefit from more choice, feedback for the restaurant as a whole is generally good. Guests have enjoyed the choice of dishes available for lunch and evening meals and find that the themed nights offer a little something extra.

Fun and friendly atmosphere

Overall, previous guests have enjoyed the atmosphere in the pub and restaurant part of this hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming and there seems to be a good group of locals too.

Negative Reviews

Restaurant can get very busy

Perhaps a testament to the quality of the food, guests note that the restaurant can get unusually busy. While not a negative per say, it does mean that overnight resident or not, you will need to book a table to ensure that you will be able to dine on-site.

Wi-Fi can be a little temperamental

Reviews of this property suggest that the Wi-Fi signal can be a little temperamental depending on where in the property you are situated. This could be a potential problem in some of the rooms.

Location hasn't suited all guests

There's a lot to like about the location of this property but while many guests have enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and the views, a number of guests have pointed out that there is little else in the vicinity. A car would be most beneficial during your stay.
