Positive Reviews

The staff here are welcoming and friendly.

The staff at Mariners really know how to offer a warm welcome and you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. If you have a chance chat to the people who work here to find out some local knowledge about the best things to do in Plymouth.

Great value for money if you're on tight budget.

This bed and breakfast offers no frills comfortable accomodation at a great price. If you just need somewhere to rest your head at night and want to a good deal then this is the place.

Excellent location and close to the ferry port.

Strategically located between Hoe Park and the international ferry port that connects to France and Spain, this bed and breakfast makes the perfect base for exploring Plymouth or stopping over before the next leg of your journey.

Negative Reviews

The lack of private parking spaces is a pain.

There is no private car park at this bed and breakfast, so if you drive here you will have to park on the street out the front of the building. If all the car parking spaces are gone then you will have to look even further afield.

Not the best Wi-Fi connection here.

If staying connected to the internet is important for you then you should be aware that the free Wi-Fi here is far from satisfactory. The speed can be terrible and sometimes the signal can drop out altogether.

Short time window to eat your breakfast.

You aren't provided with much time to get yourself downstairs for your morning meal, just one hour between 7.30am and 8.30am. If you are a late riser the chances are you might miss it altogether.
