Located in the heart of picturesque North York Moors National Park, this accommodation is surrounded by beautiful woodlands with plenty of great trails for walking or hiking. It is also well placed for exploring the shops of the medieval village of Appleton-le-moors.

Everyone is made to feel welcome.

The service provided by every staff member at the Moors Inn is excellent through and through. Every guest is greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, which is extended to dogs as well, as the staff goes the extra mile to make every stay enjoyable.

Excellent experiences are found in the pub.

People who sit down for a meal at the Moors Inn will see why it has been so popular as a pub. Not only is the food excellent with generous portions, but the entire restaurant has an old world atmosphere that is popular with guests as well as locals.

Negative Reviews

Guestroom mattresses need replaced.

One of the common complaints from people is they have a hard time getting a good night’s rest. This is mostly due to worn out and uncomfortable mattresses, which are in dire need of replacement.

Some rooms deal with noise from the bar.

As the Moors Inn started as a pub then added guestrooms, some of those rooms ended up being placed directly above the bar. This can cause a lot of noise to carry throughout the day both late into the night from drinking patrons or early in the morning as guests look take part in the complimentary breakfast.

Most people wish they could stay longer.

Overall, a negative most people have about their stay at this inn is that it is so short. Although it is off the beaten path, the people who venture here enjoy the experience so much they make plans to book again when in the area.
