Retreat, relax, take it easy

You have complimentary access to the fitness club’s sumptuous array of relaxing facilities, extra pampering services are available in the health spa and don’t forget the simple comfort of a leisurely stay next to the water The Whitewater has everything you need for a break.

Many delicious dining options

The in-house dining options come highly recommended by guests and you can choose from fresh and tasty restaurant and bar fare Even better, the lounge bar serves morning coffees and afternoon teas for those needing pre or post-hike pick-me-ups.

On the doorstep of the Lakes District

Even if you ignore the beauty of the area surrounding the Whitewater, you will not have far to go before you can take on day walks and further explore the Lakes area Or simply stay at home and enjoy the views out the window.

Negative Reviews

Staff good but there can be delays

The staff at the Whitewater is generally acknowledged to be excellent and attentive to guests, however some guests have found service to be slow This appears to sometimes have been the case for spa services.

Views and Wi-Fi not guaranteed

If you want to make sure you have a Wi-Fi coverage and a room with the river view, make sure you ask for this specifically, as not all suites can promise both of these.

Access could be hard for the disabled

The hotel’s history as riverside mill and pigmentation factory can be an attraction for some, but navigating the classic-styled premises has sometimes been difficult for the disabled in the past If your party has special requirements, ensure to enquire in advance.
