The Goat House at Ivy Cottage

The Goat House at Ivy Cottage is set in the historical village of Laxton. The recently converted barn sits behind the main house offering complete privacy and the accommodation is wonderfully spacious and light with all the modern comforts.

Inside the Goat House is a large double bedroom with feathered duvet and pillows and high quality bedlinen. The bathroom is spacious, with natural light and heated flooring. There is a twin bedroom which is only rented out if the booker requires extra accommodation; please contact me direct if you wish to book this. Finally a hallway with tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is served in the main house at a time that suits you. A choice of full english, continental, vegetarian & gluten free options are available (dietary requests on booking please) with locally sourced produce, freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade marmalades and jams.

Within a few hundred metres you will find our award winning pub, "The Dovecote Inn" which is well worth a visit.

Laxton village is in close proximity to Newark, Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Center Parcs and Clumber Park and many other tourist attractions. It is also within 6 miles of the A1.
