Located on the spectacular Negril beach, Rooms On The Beach Negril offers an affordable family vacation with a large outdoor pool and water sports of all kinds right outside your door.

Rooms and suites are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, coffee maker, safe deposit box and Wi-Fi for an additional fee.

A meeting room is available, with audiovisual equipment for rent at an additional cost. A fitness center includes stationary equipment as well as weights. An Internet cafe is free for guests.

Continental breakfast is included in the room charge. Full American breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the on-site restaurant. The hotel cafe also offers limited bar service until 5 p.m.

Glorious location.

Find the best beach parties, or discover the most secluded snorkeling spot on seven-mile Negril beach. Whatever your interest, Rooms On The Beach Negril is ideally situated next to boutiques, popular dining spots like Rick's Cafe, and all of the fun in the sun you can handle.

Modern rooms.

Guests will find modern amenities not always found in smaller Jamaican hotels. Newer furniture, modern bathrooms and flat-screen TVs pleased guests looking for value and comfort.

Separation from vendors.

Vendors selling everything from trinkets to restaurant discounts can sometimes get in the way of your relaxation. To solve the problem, a walled-in area on the beach keeps interruptions out. Security was also satisfactory for many hotel guests.

Negative Reviews

Be ready for island time.

While many visitors to Rooms On The Beach Negril knew what to expect in terms of prompt service, some were dissatisfied with the slower pace of island life. Common complaints included rooms not being ready on time, the bar opening later than stated, and rooms being cleaned well into the afternoon when guests were returning for the day.

Below average breakfast.

The included continental breakfast didn't suit everyone's tastes. Items often ran out after guests waited to eat, and the basic fare wasn't enough to fuel many diners for their day in the sand and surf.

Staff not always easy to find.

Several guests to the hotel found that staff were nowhere to be found on many occasions. From an empty front desk, to fruitless searches for towels, you might find yourself asking "is anybody home?".
