Breathtaking room views

It may be wise to spend an extra for rooms with exquisite view of the National Harbor. Aside from the wonderful view of the river, most of the rooms also offer breathtaking views of the marina and the Capital Ferris Wheel.

You won't be disappointed when you order food to your room. The orders are delivered quickly, and the quality of the foods is exceptional, as they are served still hot and fresh. This is particularly beneficial for guests who don't want to dine in an overcrowded restaurant.

Restaurant serves superb dishes

Sauciety, the hotel's restaurant, is known to impress its diners with its glass windows that provide a spectacular view of the river and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in the distance. For breakfast, you should also try the restaurant's homemade pancakes, which guests cannot rave enough.

Negative Reviews

Poor Internet connection

Do not lose your patience with the free Wi-Fi at the hotel's lobby, as it appears to be slow and unreliable. Internet connection in each room is also poor. If you really need to be online, you may be better off bringing your own Internet device.

Carpets need cleaning or replacement

For a hotel of this caliber, you might be surprised that the hallway carpet to the rooms was filthy and there are many spots everywhere. It looked like someone threw up in one of the corners and they wiped it up, but it was stained. Moreover, the hotel obviously needs carpet cleaning.

Slow check-in procedure

Many guests have complained at how the reception acknowledges online reservations. If you have an early check-in, the hotel will charge you with an added fee that you might find unreasonable. Thus, always double check details when making a reservation online and arrive at the hotel on time.
