Positive Reviews

Functional rooms with comfy beds

Many guests who've stayed here have observed that rooms are clean, spacious and home to very comfortable beds! Staff are more than happy to bring extra pillows and towels to your room if required, and guests think that the tea and coffee making facilities are an extra bonus.

Great location

Guests love the location of this hotel. Not only is it surrounded by a variety of shops, restaurants and things to do, but it's also just a five minute walk away from the train station which makes London easily accessible from here.

Good value for money

Most feel that this hotel offers great value for money. It's rates are very competitive in comparison with other hotels in the area.

Negative Reviews

Some noise through the night

As can be expected from any town centre hotel, some guests have noticed noise during the late evening and night from other guests returning to the hotel. Light sleepers may wish to request a room on a higher floor as it seems to be those on ground floor level that suffer from this noise the most.

Renovation required

Guests feel that the hotel is in need of modernisation. Rooms and communal areas are outdated and could benefit from a lick of paint and a refresh, with guests describing the decor as "bland".

Where's the power in the shower?

A handful of guests have advised that at busy times, the showers here suffer from quite low water pressure. This is a common issue at hotels of this size and did not detract from guests' overall experience.
