Good quality apartments

Most guests are of the opinion that the apartments here are of a good standard and perhaps better than they had anticipated. The accommodation is not the lap of luxury but guests find the rooms clean with well equipped kitchens, blackout blinds and international cable channels. Plus, some balconies offer views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Friendly and helpful staff

Guests tend to be appreciative of the standard of service on offer at the Macdonald La Ermita Club, frequently finding the staff friendly and attentive. Also, on the odd occasion where things haven't gone to plan (such as a booking error), guests have found the staff quick to help.

Reasonable facilities

Previous guests have been reasonably pleased with the selection of on-site facilities, with many particularly appreciative of the choice of two pools and the small spa area. Guests also enjoy sitting out on the terrace and find the car parking and laundry equipment convenient.

Negative Reviews

Extra costs

Having to pay extra for Wi-Fi is a source of disappointment for guests but is perhaps not quite as shocking as the fact that you'll have to pay for any electricity you use too. These are extra expenses which, unsurprisingly, guests are not too happy about.

Limited times for dining

Guests mention that the resort stops serving food at 4 pm and drinks at 6 pm. This is hardly ideal for people who are on holiday and does mean that you'll have to leave the hotel for evening meals or make use of the kitchen/kitchenette in your room to prepare meals.

Timeshare sales

As this is a timeshare resort, you can reasonably expect to be requested to attend a presentation. Whether you do or not is up to you but some guests may feel some pressure to do so.
