Staff feel like long lost friends

Staff are very friendly and guests feel they epitomise excellent customer service. There is a very warm and friendly atmosphere in the hotel, which makes it feel like a home away from home.

Comfortable and clean

The beds are very comfortable and the standards of cleanliness are very high. Guests have commented on the good night’s sleep they have had whilst staying here.

Looking a little dated and lacking in amenities

The property is starting to look dated and perhaps the only thing that would bring it up to scratch is a full refurbishment. Some guests have been disappointed that there are no fridges, microwaves or safes in the rooms.

Breakfast has received very mixed reviews here, with some lovers and some haters. Feedback has included not enough variety, hot food needing to be hotter and some menu choices running out.

Noise travels

Soundproofing could be improved in this property as noise does travel down the corridors and from one room to the next. If you are a light sleeper it is possible you may be woken in the morning by housekeeping starting their shifts and any guests making more than average noise could impact on your stay.
