Positive Reviews

Abundant Facilities.

Those who have booked their stay with Riber Hall are often enthused by the abundance of inclusive facilities. Guests can feast on a meal prepared from the self-service kitchens in the hotel's private walled gardens, or even delight in a night of cinematic entertainment in the Cinema Cellar.

Serene Surroundings.

Set within the idyllic Derbyshire countryside, this former 16th century estate upholds an unparalleled degree of elegance. The vast stretches of tranquil greenery are met by a stately architecture which pervades throughout all facets of this quaint bed and breakfast. Many of the rooms and residents' facilities permit panoramic views of the stunning landscape.

Well-Appointed Sleeping Arrangements.

Furnished and maintained so as to facilitate an incomparable measure of relaxation, the sleeping arrangements--spacious and en-suite--at Riber Hall rarely fail to impress. With the inclusion of four-poster beds, oak panelings, and antique vanities, one's stay at this countryside bed and breakfast lacks anything but comfort and antique luxury.

Negative Reviews

Paper-Thin Walls.

Previous visitors of Riber Hall have expressed their discontent with markedly thin walls. Many of the bedrooms--particularly those nearing the residents' facilities--are subject to disruptive commotion from fellow guests.

Some Issues with Cleanliness.

While the design and decor of this countryside hotel extend well-past the usual degree of excellence, some have borne complaints over Riber Hall's standard of cleanliness and up-keep. Among dirty showers and smudged glassware, dusty headboards and scuffed bathroom counter tops have attracted the attention of previous residents.

Poor Wi-Fi Connection.

As should be expected with almost any countryside dwelling, guests may face difficulty in accessing the complimentary wireless internet. Due to poor routing, many of the bedrooms and residents' facilities exhibit slow or non-existent Wi-Fi availability.
